The Port of San Juan is
the largest and busiest harbor in the Caribbean, and the
largest cruise port in the world after Miami. San Juan
Bay is almost entirely protected by land, about three
miles long and varying in width from .6 to 1.3 miles. It
is the only harbor on the north coast of Puerto Rico
which affords protection in all weather. Most of its
passenger piers are within walking distance to the
historic Old Town of San Juan. |
